Benny's Chop House Extends Restaurant Week Promotion
All Month Long
Three-course lunch menu features Benny's finest fare

(CHICAGO; January 26, 2011) Owner and restaurant's namesake Benny Siddu knows when something's good at Benny’s Chop House (444 N. Wabash Avenue, Chicago, 312.626.2444). Benny's Chop House has decided to extend its restaurant week for the entire month of February. The menu, featuring a selection of Benny's Chop House's finest fare, is $22 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and is available daily from 11a.m. to 4 p.m., February 1 to February 28. An additional beer, wine and spirit paring menu also is available.

The menu, prepared by executive chef Jonathan Lane, offers guests Prime Beef and Barley Soup or Spinach Salad with Poached Egg, Bacon Lardons, 7-year old Spanish Sherry Vinaigrette to begin, followed by a choice of one of three entrees: Wild Mushroom and Ricotta Ravioli, served with Brandy Parmigiano Sauce; Filet of Dover Sole, served with Melted Leek and Almond Bread Pudding, Almond Brown Butter; or Braised Beef Short Ribs, served with Crispy Polenta Cakes and Roasted Winter Root Vegetables. For dessert, pastry chef Aaron Lindgren is offering a selection of souffles: Chocolate Souffle, Meyer Lemon Souffle or Grand Marnier Souffle.
